The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied. For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version. Reroll Tokens Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original item's level and any money wasted won't get compensated. The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in chests and crates or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a new stat. Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health. There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To make them, you need a higher level token to reroll. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items. To upgrade their gear players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click on the “level up” button. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item is reached. Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely. Upgrades can boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity.
